The Second Thread is a small business in the heart of Hurstpierpoint, Sussex. We buy and sell quality pre-loved clothing & footwear for Women and Children. 

We are Xa and Hannah and have come together to build and launch The Second Thread, drawing on experience from our different work backgrounds and a shared passion for clothing, sustainability, and our love for local community. 

We met in the school playground whilst our little ones were in their Reception class. Now that they are ‘not so little’, what started as a small conversation has now grown into a reality. We are excited to share with you our newest ‘baby’, and our hope is that it grows and inspires you and your families!
